Lewis Deaver, 65, of Lone Star, died Monday, April 30, 2007 at a Longview hospital. 

A memorial service was held Thursday, May 3, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Rev. Scott Darby officiating. 

Mr. Deaver was born August 17, 1941 in Breckenridge, He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cason, a truck drive and a veteran of the U.S. Army. 

He is survived by his son, Clint Deaver of Longview; a daughter, Amy Hope of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Reed of Lone Star and Shirley Perkins of Longview and severeal nieces and nephews.
