OMAHA - Joe Henry Dossett, 75, of Omaha, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Mount Pleasant. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8 at First Baptist Church of Naples with the Rev. Barry Brown officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home. Mr. Dossett was born on June 6, 1931, in Dallas, the son of Henry Silvester Dossett and Lola Estella Tune Dossett. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Naples and of the Belden Masonic Lodge of Naples; a U. S. Navy veteran and an associate member of the Morris County Retired School Teachers Association. He is survived by his wife, Grace Dossett of Omaha; two sons and daughters-in-law, William L. and Michelle Dossett of Milwaukee, Wis., and Terry J. and Kari Dossett of North Richland Hills; a daughter, Deann McDonnel of Mesquite; three stepdaughters and spouses, Gayle and Brad Jacoby of Richardson, Alice and Kimbry McClure of Garland, and Carol and Mike Townsend of Fort Worth; one stepson, John D. Reeves Jr. of Omaha; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy Hinds of Nashville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald and Ed Dossett.
