Alexandra "Alex" Dawn Rodgers, 17, of Hughes Springs, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Cass County.

Services were held Thursday, May 3 at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Carles Swilling and Larry Trevino officiating. Interment was at Salem Cemetery in Plain Dealing, LA under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Miss Rodgers was born November 20, 1989 in Lubbock. She is survived by her parents, William and Sherry Rodgers of Hughes Springs, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mandy Ann and Shane Brady of Lecompte, LA and Sarah Rodgers of Elizabeth, NJ, a brother, Willie Rodgers of Hughes Springs, paternal grandmother, Violet Rodgers of Hughes Springs, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
