Heritage Room
The Heritage Room opened in 1975 in
the library at Tarrant County College, Northeast Campus. The
room contains a special collection of local history of
Northeast Tarrant County and genealogical information on some
of the families of that sector of the County. There is a
wealth of information on what that part of the County used to
be like and the people who shaped it into what it is today.The collection consists of books,
manuscripts, photographs, artifacts and some census records.
The primary focus of the collection is on the history of
Northeast Tarrant County, but the room also includes
information on the history of Fort Worth, as well as some
general Texas history. There is also some general genealogical
information.
