Look-Up Request: Attention: Linda SURRATT White

In the 1878-79 city directory, my GGGrandfather, Archibald T. Ireland, is listed as a business partner with a Surratt. Would Surratt be an ancestor of yours? I am interested in learning more about the Irelands. If you have information, will you email me.

Look-Up Request: Attention Linda SURRATT White

I believe my great great grandmother, Mary (Pillers) Ireland is buried in Tarrant County on or about 1880. She was approx. age 55 and was the wife of Archibald T. Ireland who is listed in the Ft. Worth City Directory of 1877 and again in 1878-79 dob as Ireland, SURRATT, Griffin, carriage makers, etc.

I am interested in locating something about her and her husband, where she is buried, etc? Also is his business partner connected to your family...SURRATT?

I will appreciate any advice you can give me regarding finding out more about the Irelands.

Mary,

There is an M. IRELAND, female age 56 buried in Oakwood Cemetery. There is no headstone and the records give only the date of interment which is 9-12-1881. Grave location is Block 1 Lot 19 Space 6. She died of heart disease. She is the only person there with that surname.

I'm not sure what part of Tarrant Co. that Arlington would be in. Vincent Palmer died March 1981 in Arlington according to the SSDI. If Arlington is not in your look-up section of the County, could you tell me who would be. Thanks very much.

REPLY:

Hi Tom,
I have one Arlington Cemetery in the book I have, it is Watson Cemetery. The book I have only goes up to 1980. I don't know if there is anyone else that has any cemetery books for the rest of the county. I have two Palmers, S. H. Palmer and Barbara Ann, neither are buried in the Watson Cemetery in Arlington.

Can you help? My eternal gratitude for anything you can send me about Emaline's death. Sharon Cunningham
