She was approx. age 55 and was the wife of Archibald T. Ireland who is listed in the Ft. Worth City Directory of 1877 and again in 1878-79 dob as Ireland, SURRATT, Griffin, carriage makers, etc. I am interested in locating something about her and her husband, where she is buried, etc? Also is his business partner connected to your family...SURRATT? I will appreciate any advice you can give me regarding finding out more about the Irelands. ======================================== REPLY: Mary, There is an M. IRELAND, female age 56 buried in Oakwood Cemetery. There is no headstone and the records give only the date of interment which is 9-12-1881. Grave location is Block 1 Lot 19 Space 6. She died of heart disease. She is the only person there with that surname. Rob Yoder

REPLY: Hi Tom, I have one Arlington Cemetery in the book I have, it is Watson Cemetery. The book I have only goes up to 1980. I don't know if there is anyone else that has any cemetery books for the rest of the county. I have two Palmers, S. H. Palmer and Barbara Ann, neither are buried in the Watson Cemetery in Arlington.
