Application of Margaret Walker "for letters of administration with the will annexed of the estate of Wm. A. Walker Deceased. Any person can attend and contest if they think proper." 26 Dec. 1853.

Will of William Walker. Dated 14 December 1853.
To my beloved wife Margret Walker and my two oldest sons, John H. Walker and James A. Walker all lands situated lying in Tarrant County... together with all my other freehold estate. All the rest residue and remainder of my personal state, good and chattels to my said beloved wife and two sons, John H. Walker and James A. Walker.
Sole executrix: Margret Walker.
Witnesses: J. J. Mooneyham, R. R. Blacker, and W. D. Barns.
Proved 30 January 1854 by oath of J. J. Mooneyham.

Bond of Margaret Walker, administratrix; $1200. Securities: J. B. Hibbert and Dr. Owen Blacker.

Appraisal of property shown to them on 23 Feb. 1854 made by John B. Hibbert and J. J. Mooneyham. Total value: $1347.20. Included: a lot of books, wall map, 320 acres land and 213 acres land, livestock, farm equipment, etc. Filed 27 Feb. 1854.

Final report of Margaret Walker, admrx. Filed 26 Feb. 1855.
