Estate of John P. Lusk, deceased

 

15 April 1851. E. S. Terrell applies for letters of administration on the estate of John P. Lusk, deceased.

28 April 1851. In court, Edward S. Terrell states that J. P. Lusk is indebted to him in the sum of $25, and that he knows of no person interested in said estate "who is more authorised than him Self who is likely to administer on the same." He is appointed administrator and makes bond in amount $200, with John B. York and John P. Montgomery securities.

Promissory note of John P. Lusk to E. S. Terrell dated March/44, for one mare $25. Date of approval of payment by S. Gilmore, C.J.: 31 May 1841 [should be 1851].

29 Sept. 1851. G. L. Farmer and Samuel P. Loving, Appraisers, make return showing that the only property of deceased that has been presented to them by the admr is one colony headright certificate No. 155 issued to the heirs of the above dec'd.

31 May 1852. E. S. Terrill, admr, petitions for discharge from administration of estate of J. P. Lusk, deceased.
