Estate of Joel M. Lilly, Deceased

 

Petition of Samuel Kelly and Mary Jane Lilly for probate of the last will and testament of J. M. Lilly. They recite that on the [blank] day of August 1867 J. M. Lilly departed this life, and in his lifetime, on the first day of July 1862, decedent executed in writing his last will and testament, and therein named and appointed your petitioners sole executor and executrix. S/ Samuel Kelly, Mary Jane Lilly. Filed 20 September 1867.

Will of Joel M. Lilly. Dated July 1,1862. Probated Sept. term of court 1867. After all lawful debts are paid and discharged residue of estate to wife, Mary Jane Lilly - the land on which I now reside and all my stock horses and cattle, work oxen, hogs now possessed by me, during the term of her natural life and after her death to be divided equally among my heirs.... I appoint Samuel Kelly and my wife Mary Jane Lilly to be executors S/ Joel M. Lilly.
Witnesses: W. E. Haltom and T. F. Rodgers.
