Petition of F. A. Leach, of Tarrant County, for letters of administration on the estate of Joseph Lester, deceased. 25 sept. 1858. Advertised Oct. 12, 1858.

Bond of Frances A. Leach, administrator: $1000. Sureties: B. F. White and J. E. Cook. Approved 15 October 1858.

Inventory and appraisement of the estate of Joseph Lester, dec'd, made December 4, 1858, by John C. Holman, James Stubblefield, and B. F. White. Included: a judgment on Felix Gorman; a negro woman named Nancy aged about 50; a lot of notes "which are all bard by Statute of Limitation of this state." Returned by admr, Francis A. Leach. Filed 28 December 1858. [In a duplicate paper, Stubblefield is called J. M. Stubblefield.]

Administrator's report is made from Weatherford, Parker County. He shows claims on George Akers, B. F. Barkley, Hughes & Denard, L. W. Jones, White & Barkley, R. B. Sigler, A. G. Walker, and F. A. Leach, as having been collected, "also, $40.30 a portion of the percent due A. J. Ball for obtaining judgment in the District court of Tarrant Co.... against Malinda E. Barkley, B. F. Barkley, B. F. White, W. L. Parker, and John McMillan...."
