Estate of Earnest Humbert, Deceased

 

Petition of E. M. Daggett for letters of administration on the estate of Earnest Humbert, deceased. He died 12 August 1856, possessed of 160 acres near Fort Worth and known as a part of the colonial headright of A. Gouhenant. Next of kin to Humbert is A. Gouhenant, who relinquishes his right to petition. Dated 6 September 1856

E. M. Daggett, administrator's bond; $5000. Sureties: B. H. King, W. B. Livckez, W. Clakman, and Charles B. Daggett. Approved 25 Oct. 1858.

Inventory: 160 acres land on the West Fork of Trinity. Other property. Total value: $12,000. Returned by John M. Durrett, Lawrence Steel, James Marguel [?Marquess?]. Filed 29 Nov. 1858.

Report of sale of 160 acres land to A. Gouhenant, the highest bidder. Filed 1 Feb. 1859.

Petition of Adolphus Gouhenant for cease of administration. He is the only heir in the United States.
