Estate of John Hannabal, Deceased

Application for letters of administration. Filed 26 March 1855. Waco. March 11, 1855. To M. T. Johnson Esq. Birdville. My object in addressing you is to get you to attend to a little law business for me as I know of no lawyer in your neighborhood. I wish to get Letters of Administration out on the property of John Hannibal who was drowned at Fort Worth in the Trinity sometime since his estate consists of a set of pay papers which I have in my possession but cannot get the amount but as administrator. You will confer a great favor by applying in my name or placing this in a lawyer's hands and having him do so. and I will pay all expenses. Answer this as soon as convenient if you please and oblige.
