Estate of J. L. Collier, Deceased

 

Bond of John A. Wims who has been appointed administrator of the estate of J. L. Collier, deceased; $2000. Sureties: B. L. Samuels and John M. Durrett. Approved 28 March 1864.

Report of sale "at the Late residence of A. D. Johnson, Dec'd," two rifle guns on Septr 9, 1864 to the highest bidders: Hugh Roberts, $8.00 and A. J. Lee, $2.50. Note given by Hugh Roberts was secured by Chs B. Daggett and W. T. Ferguson. Filed 25 September 1864.

Inventory of one acre land in Upshur County appraised by R. W. Wyatt and W. P. Beall, who were appointed by the county court of Tarrant County -- $400. Sworn 15 March 1865 before Samuel Handly, N.P., Upshur Co., Texas.

Inventory included household equipment and one acre land and house situated in Coffeville, Upshur County, Texas. "The following property has been set apart and turned over to the widow Mary C. Collier now Mary C. Ewing." Further inventory: a house and lot in Fort Worth for which a suit is pending in the District court of Tarrant County and has not been determined. Further: J. A. Wims asks to be discharged as adm'r at this term of court. Filed May 17, 1865.
