Estate of Thomas Christian, Deceased.

 

Inventory and appraisement of the property of Thomas J. Christian, Deceased, and J. G. Christian, his wife. Made by Alexander Allen, J? E. Hood, and Levin Moody. Sworn and subscribed 29 November 1858 before M. W. Deavenport, J.P. "I Jane Christian ["I" and "J" made exactly same in these records] wife of said Thos. J. Christian Deed" makes oath that inventory is correct. S/ L. J. [or T. J.] Christian.

Inventory included livestock, gun, household and kitchen furniture, and Improvements on preemption claim. On reverse side: Catalogue of Thos. J. Christian's indebtedness: Note to Joseph Shokley (negotiable) for sun of $47.50; Accounts owed to White & Barclay; Mr. Cook; Leonard & Croly; Mrs. Barnes; and Jeff Estil. Filed Nov. 30, 1858.
