Bond of William A. Walker, "guardian of the minor child and property of Wiley W. Potts and Margarett J. Potts"; $1350.00. Securitites J. C. Armstrong and Solomon Haworth. Approved and filed 28 Feb. 1853.

Citation to William A. Walker, guardian of Wiley W. Potts, minor, "to appear and contest the probating of the noncupative will of Margarett J. Potts." Issued 28 Feb. 1853.

Application of Wm. A. Walker for guardianship of the person and property of Wiley W. Potts, minor heir of Margarett Potts, deceased. 26 July 1853. [W. A. Walker was appointed guardian and took oath 29 Sept. 1853. It is not clear why these long lapses occurred in the administrative procedure, but papers in W. A. Walker's estate reveal that he had been ill for an extended period. He died in Dec. 1853.]

Bond of Margaret Walker, guardian of the person and property of Wiley W. Potts, minor heir; $1350. Securities: J. W. Boyle and J. B. Hibbert. [In the body of the bond the names of William D. Barnes and R. M. Blacker were entered as sureties, but lined out. The signatures of Robert R. Blacker and W. D. Barnes were affixed, but also lined through.]

Petition of Margaret Walker, guardian, to sell four yoke of oxen ... now full grown and of more value, for benefit of minor. Petition granted. March term 1856.

Report of cattle on hand. 30 March 1857.

Annual exhibit of Margaret Walker, gdn of W. W. Potts. She reports 54 head stock cattle; $161.00 cash on hand, the proceeds of sale 10 April 1857; paid A. G. Walker for survey land and patent fees; fees paid S. Gilmore. Filed 29 March 1858.

Annual exhibit of Margaret Walker, gdn of W. W. Potts. She reports 67 head of stock cattle; cash on hand at interest of 12%; amount allowed for support of ward. Filed 25 April 1859.
