Gibbs F. Walls

Fort Worth Star-Telegram
April 3, 1950

Gibbs F. Walls, 63, longtime resident of Paris and retired farmer who moved here about five years ago, died at 2:30 pm. Sunday in a hospital. Walls, of 1301 Waterman, had been in failing health for two years and Friday night became seriously ill, apparently from a ruptured appendix. Because of his weight nearly 300 pounds and generally, poor health, physicians advised against an operation. He was a native of Arkansas.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mmes. Estelle Smith, Troy Money and Opal Mae Smith, all of Fort Worth; three sons, Roy, G. F. and T. G. Walls, Fort Worth; one brother Hugh Walls of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mmes. Lizzie Haddock and Florence Lewis both of Austin; 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren

Arrangements will be announced by Harris Funeral Home
