Dr. I. M. Darter, one of the old citizens of Fort Worth, died this morning at his residence, corner of Lipscomb and Jarvis Streets, South Side. Funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Friends and acquaintances are invited.

Dr. Darter came to Texas in 1859 from Alabama and has resided part of the time in Tarrant County. He was forty-two years old and had been sick for some time prior to his death. He will be buried in the old cemetery. The funeral will be held at the residence this morning. Dr. Darter leaves a wife and three boys.

The physicians of Fort Worth are requested to meet at the residence to attend as a body the funeral of the deceased.
