Alfred P. Luckett, aged 72 years, an old and highly respected citizen of Fort Worth, died at his home, 928 Adams Street, at 9:30 a.m. Friday and the funeral services were held at the residence at 3 p.m. Saturday. He is survived by his wife and seven children - J. H. Luckett, Portland, Ore.; Alfred M. Luckett, superintendent of the Texas Company, Dallas; Mrs. George L. Kuntz, Mrs Ray Hunter Worth Luckett, Edward Luckett and Flora Luckett of Fort Worth; and three brothers and one sister, H. P. Luckett of Toyah, T. D. Luckett of Clarksville, Tenn. and Mrs. Louise Moore of this city. Alfred P. Luckett was born near Louisville, Ky. in 1838, coming to Texas when a young man, locating in Galveston. He came to Fort Worth twenty-three years ago and was prominent in financial circles.
