Dr. Chase, 64, died Tuesday at home. He had lost a finger and an arm due to his experimentation with x-ray and his condition gradually grew worse after the last surgery. He died only one day before the Exchange Club of Fort Worth had planned a luncheon to recognize his contributions to the field of medicine. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church, Rev. James K. Thompson, officiating, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Edward Dayton Chase and Robert Keaton Chase, and a sister, Miss Mary Hope Chase.
