Jo Pirtle, Cemetery Chair of the Tarrant County Historical Commission, tells us that she located Turner Cemetery using Tarrant Appraisal District tax maps and databases. It is located at 6710 Smithfield Road, in North Richland Hills, and is in the northeast corner of Smithfield Cemetery. According to tax records it is separately owned and named Turner Cemetery, but it may be considered a part of Smithfield as there is no apparent division between the two, such as a fence or curb. The location of this cemetery had eluded us for more than a dozen years.
