BRECKENRIDGE – Gladys Williams, 86, died Monday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Melton Funeral Home Chapel of Memories
with the Rev. G.W. Davenport officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge
Cemetery
Mrs. Williams was born in Munday and moved to Breckenridge in 1944 from Caddo.
She was a graduate of Mary Hardin-Baylor College in Belton.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was the widow of F.C. “Finis” Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo (Mrs. Fred) Sperry of Midland and Anna (Mrs.
G.W.) Davenport of Tyler; a son, C.H. Williams of Brandon, Colo.; three sisters,
Ira Lee of Abilene, Ora Mae Thompson of Palestine and Eva Wells; eight
grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels and may be left at the funeral home.
