Stephens County Pioneer Dies
Mrs. EMMA WILLIS of Artesia, New Mexico, member of a pioneer Stephens County ranch family and sister of R. L. MCFALL of Abilene, died this morning in Breckenridge, relatives here were notified. Mrs. Willis was on a visit to her former home when she became ill two weeks ago. Her condition became critical early Saturday and relatives, including her brother here, went to her bedside. Funeral rites will be held Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. THOMPSON in Breckenridge and burial will be in a cemetery there. Mrs. Thompson is a sister of Mrs. Willis.

One brother, L. R. MCFALL, and another sister, Mrs. L. D. LILES of Breckenridge, and a son, ROBERT WILLIS of Artesia, New Mexico, also survive.

Mrs. Willis moved with her parents to Stephens County more than 45 years ago, and was married there to Mr. Willis, who was a pioneer rancher and also a participant in the famous Oklahoma land run. The family later moved to Maryreal area of Nolan County, living there 20 years. It was there Mr. Willis died more than 12 years ago. For while, Mrs. Willis returned to Breckenridge then moved with her son to Artesia.

Among the relatives going to Breckenridge for the service are R. B. MCFALL, a nephew, Miss ADDIE NELL MCFALL, a niece, Mrs. R. E. MCFALL, Mrs. R. L. MCFALL, and Mrs. R. B. MCFALL. They were joined here this morning by Mrs. KATE STOKER and her daughter Mrs. W. M. KIRKPATRICK of Post.
