RUEL STOKER
Breckenridge: RUEL STOKER, 76, member of a pioneer Stephens County ranching family, died Monday in Stephens Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted May 30. Services will be Wednesday at Satterwhite Chapel of Grace. Rev. ED ARNESON of the First Christian Church will official. Burial will be at Breckenridge Cemetery.

Born Jan. 21, 1900 in Stephens County, he married ANNIE LAURIE LOUGHRY April 20, 1919 in Breckenridge. He ranched in the country all his life and for a number of years, he had been in partnership with his son, J. B., in the ranching business. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his son, J. B. of Breckenridge, a daughter, Mrs. JIM MCMILLAN of Breckridge; four brothers, GREEN and HOWARD STOKER both of Mineral Wells, CALIN STOKER of Weatherford and ROY STOKER of Breckenridge; two sisters, Mrs. ELIZABETH WHITE of North Carolina and CLARA STOKER of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be in the form of contributions to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center of Abilene.

The family will be at home at 1504 Sycamore, Breckenridge.
