Man Dies Of Heart Attack In Downtown Breck
                Jonnie Glenn Edmondson, 58, resident of Breckenridge since 1958, was dead on arrival at Stephens Memorial Hospital at 5:30 p.m. Thursday after suffering a heart attack in the 100 block of South Court Avenue.
                Mr. Edmondson had come to town to pick up his wife who works in a downtown store. He collapsed as they were getting in the car which was parked at the curb in front of Ann’s Dress Shop. An ambulance was summoned, but he was dead when the ambulance arrived, according to the driver.
                He had suffered from a heart ailment for the past 12 years.
                Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Kenneth Reed, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating.
                Burial was in Woodson Cemetery, under the direction of Melton Funeral Home.
                Born February 20, 1908, in Eastland County, he had been a rancher and farmer in Eastland and Comanche counties all of his adult life until moving to Breckenridge in 1958. He married Marzie Frances Askew August 3, 1930, in Haskell.
                Survivors include his wife; and one sister, Mrs. Jesse Allen of Gustine.
                Pallbearers were Bob Whitman, Bill Heathington, Jack Black, Ralph Perdue, Bob Harrison and H.V. Walker.
