JAMES WASHINGTON CURRENT
Two men, each a retired farmer and a resident of Big Spring since moving here from California 12 years ago, died Wednesday. Funerals for the two are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday.

JAMES W. CURRENT died at his home on Route No. 2 shortly before noon Wednesday.

WILLIAM WALTER CLARK died at his home, 504 Abrams, about 4 p.m.

Funeral for Mr. Current will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nalley-Pickle Chapel with JAMES EUBANKS, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Memorial Park.

Rites for Mr. Clark are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the River Chapel with Rev. W. R. DALE officiating. Interment will be in City Cemetery.

Mr. Clark was born July 5 1874 in Cuesta, Georgia. He moved here from California in 1946 and had lived in the Lubbock area before moving to California. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Mrs. ELLA JANE CLARK of Big Spring, two daughters Mrs. NELLIE MCHOLLAND of Norwalk, California and Mrs. GEORGE MARTIN of Brownfield; three sons, EUGENE CLARK of Big Spring, MILES M. CLARK of Lometa, Calif., and LLOYD CLARK of Andrews and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. Current was born Sept. 13, 1874 in Breckenridge. He moved from California to Big Spring 12 years ago. Mr. Current is survived by his wife, Mrs. MARY (HOUSTON) CURRENT of Big Spring; three sons, ELISHA JOHN CURRENT of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, PAUL and HERMAN CURRENT of Oroville, California; one brother, A. C. CURRENT of Mountainair, New Mexico; and three half brothers, CHARLIE NICHOLS of Big Spring and ROY and CASE NICHOLS of Sterling City.
