Moran - Alberta Cline Brush Dickerson "Granny" to grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 76, of Abilene, Texas, died Friday, November 25, 2005 at a Abilene Nursing Home.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2005 at the Moran Cemetery with Rev Jack Clack officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.
Alberta was born in Jones County, the eldest of five children born to Albert and Beatrice (Thomas) Cline.  She was reared in Moran and graduated from Moran High School in 1947.  That year she married O.C. "Bud" Brush.  He preceded her in death due to an oil rig accident in 1958.  Alberta, to support their two daughters, worked several places including Times, Masters and retiring from U.S Brass in 1992.
After the death of Mr Brush she married Lloyd "Sonny" Dickerson who also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Moran Baptist Church
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Blackburn and husband, David of Afton, TX and Kathy Brush of Abilene, one brother, William Cline and wife, Betty, of Clifton, TX, one sister, LaVelle Speegle of Lancaster, Calif, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents and two brothers, Doran and Leonard Cline preceded her in death
