SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Willie Bogle 1928-2000 HAMLIN - Willie Bogle, a former resident of Snyder, died Thursday, Aug. 3, in a Cleburne hospital. Funeral service for Mr. Bogle, 72, was set for 4 p.m. today in the Church of the Nazarene in Hamlin with the Revs. Phillip Brown and Darryl Lackey officiating. Burial was to follow in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Foster-Adams Funeral Home. Born in Hamlin, he was the son of the late Richard �Dan� and Martha Clawson Bogle. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he married Odessa Boren on July 5, 1946 in Hamlin. She died in 1996. Mr. Bogle was a retired construction supervisor and had lived in Hamlin and Snyder before moving to Cleburne in 1990. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Dan Bogle. Survivors include one son, Willie �Bill� Bogle of Cleburne; three daughters, Betty Davis of Keene, Sonya Brumit of Cleburne and Nancy Brown of Stuarts Craft, Va.; five brothers, R.T. Bogle of Lubbock, Johnny Bogle of Stamford, Leon Bogle and Joe Bogle, both of Hamlin, and Charles Bogle of Hattesville; three sisters, Ruby Traughber, Rose Mary Butler and JoAnn Bogle, all of Hamlin; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
