Can you help identify the people in these photos?

James Walter Taylor, second from left

James Walter Taylor, third from left

These two photos were submitted by Anna Jean Taylor whose paternal grandfather, James Walter Taylor, is in both. He was the son of John Allen and Artimissa Hamilton Taylor and was born 12 September 1879 in San Saba County. The photos were probably taken between 1900 and 1910. The story is that a friend of J. W. Taylor had a girlfriend back East that he wanted to impress, so he and his friends had these photos taken of them in cowboy gear. Hopefully someone will see these and can help identify the unknown friends.

Can anyone identify this couple?

Forty-one photos were submitted by Joan Petty Bounds, granddaughter of D. W. and Maggie Low Gaddy.  He was a circuit preacher, so some of the pictures may be of people outside of San Saba.  Also, there were relatives in Cherokee, Bend, and surrounding areas.  The pictures belonged to Maggie Low Gaddy, daughter of James Milton Low.  D. W. and Maggie owned and ran the Gaddy Hotel that was across from the Courthouse.
