DIRECTIONS Mill Creek Cemetery, Sabine/Newton County Line, Texas -
From the Courthouse in Hemphill take FM 83 (Worth Street) East 1 block to
State Hwy 87. Turn South or Right on Hwy 87 South and go 22.7 miles to the
intersection of RR 255 (Recreational Road). At the intersection of Hwy 87
and RR 255 , turn East or Left and go 4.5 miles to USFS Road 196 (United
States Forest Service Road). Go Left on USFS Road 196 2.9 miles, then take
a dirt road Left, and go 1.0 mile to the cemetery. There are signs that
say Mill Creek Cemetery at each turn, watch for them. |
