Martin Cemetery (aka Martin's Chapel Cemetery), Sabine County, Texas - From the Sabine County Court House in Hemphill, Texas, go West on FM 83 (Worth St.) 11.5 miles to the intersection of FM 83 and US Highway 96 in Pineland. Turn Right or North onto US 96 and go 1.1 miles to the intersection of Bear Creek Drive on the Left. Turn Left or West onto Bear Creek Drive and go 0.9 mile to the intersection of Martin Cemetery Drive on the Left, then turn Left or South onto Martin Cemetery Drive and go 0.2 mile to the cemetery on the Right.  The cemetery has been laid out and each grave site numbered.  The largest number I found was #281.  There is a chain link fence and the cemetery is well kept.  J. B. Sanders Cemetery Book (Abt 1963) lists 18 graves as being unmarked.  Additional information added in parenthesis.
