GA and her husband Cicero Irvin Houston born 27 Apr 1849 Heard Co. GA. Martilla and Cicero Houston moved to Panola County by 1895. Cicero Houston is buried as C.I. Houston in the Old Williamson Cemetery and Martilla (Warren) Houston is buried in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby Co. Earl Thurmon Gary (Sr) was the son of Andrew Washington 'Bud' Gary and his 2nd wife Martha J Kinsey. Mary Lee Houston Gary is buried in Gladewater Memorial Gardens, Gladewater, Gregg Co. TX

Mossie Mae Houston Minter and Arvie Minter divorced, and she went on to marry two more times. She is pictured here with third husband Edgar Rushing (seated). Mossie Mae Houston was the daughter of Martilla A. Warren and her husband Cicero Irvin Houston from Panola County.

Martilla (Warren) Houston died 6 March 1927 and is buried in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby Co.

born 12 April 1897 Carthage, Panola County, TX died 9 Feb 1991 Odessa, Ector Co TX. Married 10 June 1917 in Arkinda, Little River County, Arkansas, Berchie Houston born June 1897. He was the son of John Marion Williams born 31 Aug 1871 in Rockwood, Roane Co. TN and his wife Mary 'Ada' Gary born 6 Oct 1871 in Carthage, Panola Co. She was the daughter of Martilla A. Warren and Cicero Irvin Houston from Panola. Oscar's first wife Berchie died Aug 19, 1963. He remarried Lorena Johnson in Dec 1963. He began as a farmer in Carthage and later became a minister for the Church of God for over 60 years, serving in Anderson, Indiana. They are both buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.

Her parents were John A. Minter b. 20 Aug 1846 and his wife Nancy M. Parks b. 23 June 1846 who were farming in Panola in 1900.
John S. Houston was born May 1876 GA and married 9 Sept 1893 in Panola County, Martha Ann 'Mattie' Williamson b. 20 Nov 1871. 'Mattie' was the daughter of William Henry Crawford Williamson (1824-1894) and his wife Elizabeth Phillip Ingram b. 1826 who were farming in Panola County.

They married 7 Sept 1910 in Panola. He was the son of Charlie Pike b. Oct 1847 and his wife Josephine Graves born Dec 1855 who were farmers in 1900 in Panola County. (Onnie Warren is said to be 'cousin' to Odie Rene Houston Pike on back of photo but I have as yet not placed who she is.)
