  • Lettie Champion b 1887 in LA, Arther Champion b 1888 in LA and C---- D. , a female, b 1895 in TX.
  • "The Lord is my Shepherd" Per the 1900 Census of Panola County, Nealy Ann was born in LA, as were both her parents. It further states that Peter and Nealy Ann had been married for three years, that one child had been born of that marriage and that one child was still living. However, on that census, three children by the surname Johnson were all residing in the household of Peter and Nealy Ann: Joe Johnson b 1883, Lenard b 1887 and Binnie b 1889. The birthdates of these three children place them as being born before the death of Mary Jane Bryant, Petter's first wife. Also living in the household were three children by the last name of Champion who were listed as being Peter's grandchildren, but more likely they were his step children. These grandchildren were Lettie Champion b 1887 in LA, Arther b 1888 in LA and C--- D. (a female) b 1895 in TX. The latter child is possibly Camma Lee Johnson (1893-1913) that is buried at Pleasant Hill.

  • "She was the sunshine of our home" Per 1900 Census of Panola County, Dolly was born in MS as were both her parents. Albert is shown as being born Oct 1854 in TX, his father born in MS and his mother in VA. The census also shows that in 1900, Dolly and Albert had been married for 17 years with no children born to them. However, this information may be incorrect in that the grave immediately beside Dolly's is that of Delily Raford who is an age to have possibly been Dolly's daughter. It is possible that instead of meaning no children had been born to Dolly and Albert, the correct response was that they had no living children in 1900.
