WALLACE, WALLIS
We are trying to locate any information on one Henry Clay WALLACE (1904-1923) who we believe died in a swimming accident near Liberal, KS on July 30, 1923. We understand that his father took him home to be buried, home being Perryton, TX, but have been unable to locate him. Any help would be appreciated. The last name could have been Wallis rather than Wallace as his brother always spelled his name WALLIS.

ROACH
Josephine nee MURPHY was born in Louisiana or Mississippi about 1870. Her mother, Amanda nee DUGGAR, and father died when she was young. I do not know - and need to - her father's first name. A maternal aunt, Cornelia LYLE, raised her. Josephine married Bartholomew (Bat) ROACH and at some point they moved to Ivanhoe, Oklahoma which became Follett, TX.
Her half-brother, Samuel RIFFLE, followed and established residency near the Roach family in what is now Lipscomb Co. Samuel RIFFLE donated land for Follett's first cemetery, " Fairmont ." Perhaps she is buried there; I do not know. I need a death certificate for Josephine - there is not one on file in Lipscomb Co. I am told the nearest hospital was in Ochiltree County so, perhaps she died there, generating a death certificate in that county. I do not know her date of death.
