"Young grandma Lena"
"Young grandma Lena" is a picture of Lena Molandes who married Victor (Vick) Arriola. She is the girl on the left, on the right is Effie Cloudy Molandes - wife of Lena's brother Manuel. The photo may have been taken about 1915.
Grandma Lena
The Grandma Lena is a picture of Lena Molandes Arriola probably not too long before she died, but not sure of the date of the picture. She was born in Madisonville, but lived most of her life in Nacogdoches County. She was the daughter of Frank Molandes and Matilda Arriola. She and Vick Arriola were fourth cousins - they shared the same 3rd great grandfather, Joseph Marcelino de Arriola. She died in a traffic accident on March 17, 1968.
