Wooden Cross There are 94 wooden crosses used to mark graves
that do not have headstones. According to Leon Hutchison, the
crosses replaced rocks used to mark a grave site.
C/S There are 25 hollow concrete markers, approximately
4"x 4"x12", used to mark graves that do not have
head stones. They appear to be replacing the wooden crosses.
Funeral Home There are 4 funeral home markers, included in
this survey, that are illegible and rusted. Names and dates were
not visible.
Marble Slab There is one marble slab that does not have
writing on it.
Homemade Concrete There are three homemade concrete markers,
without names or dates, marking graves. One is flat and 2 are
upright.
Future grave sites There are 8 square granite markers that
"hold" a site for a future burials. These were not
included in the survey.
