FULLER-NICHOLS CEMETERY, NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TEXAS

Fuller-Nichols Cemetery is located on private property (Denny) near Cushing. An alternate location listed as next to Fuller / Old Chapel Cem.

This transcript was made 9 September 2004 by Mr. Charles Brightwell. Every effort has been made to make an accurate transcription. This cemetery contains the remains of at least one immigrant who arrived at the Fuller home suffering an unknown illness. He died shortly after his arrival and was buried in the Fuller family burial ground. This information supplied by Mr. Hall who served as a guide to this site. Mr. Hall is a descendant of the Fuller and Nichols families. Many graves are marked by iron ore field stones. Most have been displaced from their original placement. This site is endangered by cattle grazing in pasture. The cemetery is wooded and unkept.  Broken head and footstones litter this burial site, highly endangered

If you have additional information or photos of any of these persons or if you believe there is an error in the transcript please email TXGenWeb Nacogdoches County Coordinator with the information but please DO NOT send images or attachments without an exchange of email first. Unexpected email with attachments will not be opened due to the threat of viruses and worms
