Old South Union Cemetery
Location: This cemetery site was the original location of South Union Church. Take FM 3421 east from US 259 in Lone Star for 1.2 miles and then left on CR 2113 for .5 mile. The cemetery is l8 mile on the left on private property. This is beyond a locked gate. Ask for permission before entering. This cemetery is known to be predominantly white The cemetery was read Oct 4, 1998 by Gerald Hammock and Charles Steger with the permission of Morris County Commissioner Dearl Quarles.*The oldest known marked grave: Row 3 COLLINS, Mary Ida Feb 4 1887.
