City National Bank

 

The first jail was made with solid rock, 20 X 14 feet, with walls 2-1/2 feet thick.   Arched

roof of rock over two iron doors, to be built in 40 days by Martin, Byrne and Johnston

for $21,300.00 to be completed by August 15, 1882.    It was completed July 23, 1882.
