This site is a part of The TXGenWeb project and The USGenWeb project devoted solely to the genealogy and history of Mitchell County.  All of the information on this site is provided free of charge to the researcher.  Volunteers are always needed and welcome.  Without you, the site will not grow as it should.  If you would consider volunteering by transcribing records or submitting material or photographs, please click on "Volunteers" to see how you can help.

Mitchell County TXGenWeb Death Certificate Project

The Mitchell County TXGenWeb is in the process of obtaining as many death certificates pertaining to Mitchell County .

The death certificates will consist of Images and/or Transcriptions from Mitchell County and  and a few from surrounding counties. I f you would like to submit a death certificate or transcription

Every day is memorial day to a soldier. This project is our way of honoring all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family members and loved ones of those that gave their lives to fight for our country.
May God give you peace in your heart and strength to carry on.
