G. H. "Shorty" Sisson, 68, of Midland, and formerly of Stanton passed away on
Sunday, September 17, 2006, in Midland. A graveside service will be held at
11:00 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in
Stanton with Reverend David Harp, pastor of First Baptist Church of Stanton
officiating.

Shorty was born on February 8, 1938, in Stanton, Texas and married Jessie J.
Dyke on January 29, 1963 in Stanton. Jessie preceded him in death on June 29,
2002.

Shorty served in the United States Army. He worked for Melton Post Roofing in
Midland for 40 years before retiring. He was a memeber of First Baptist Church
of Stanton.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Hughes of Midland and Donna Brown of
Lubbock; a son, Ronald Sisson of Midland; two brothers, Darryl Sisson of
Stanton and Billy Neal Sisson of Midland and 8 grandchildren and one expectant
great grandson, Gunner.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Midland, P.O. Box 2621,
Midland, Texas 79702.
