Pruitt, Willie Lee Willie Lee Pruitt, 94, of Midland died Thursday, Oct. 26, at a local care facility. A graveside service will be held Monday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m., at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, with Pastor Mike Hanks of First Assembly of God, officiating. A visitation will be held today, Oct. 29, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland from 4-6 p.m. He was born Jan. 13, 1912 in Oneonta, Alabama to Lee and Sarah Pruitt. He married Oleta Riggs on July 13, 1935 in Morrilton, Ark. She preceded him in death April 12. He worked for H & H Grocery and Midland Hardware Branch Roofing in Midland. He retired from the Civil Service as an employee of the base supply at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth E. Pruitt of Midland, Billy A. Pruitt and David L. Pruitt all of Midland; one daughter, Marilyn Boyington of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Robert Pruitt. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice, 901 W Missouri, Midland, TX 79701.
