'Fate' Hart, 86
Dies in Hospital;

     Harvey L. "Fate" Hart, 86, died in a Midland hospital early this morning.

     Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Newnie W. Ellis Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Darwin, pastor of Calvary Baptist  Church, officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

     Hart was born July 19, 1887, in Ellis County ad spent his early life in Garrett. In 1903, he moved to Mitchell County and was married there in 1910. He move to Andrews in 1923 and to Midland in 1929. Before retiring in 1957, he farmed and worked for lumber yards.

     Survivors include five sons, Wayne Hart, Sidney Hart, Jay Hart and Davis Hart, all of Midland, and Jessie Ray Hartof Beeville; four daughters Mrs. D.B. Watlingotn, Miss Rosie Hart and Mrs. John Stanley, all of Midland, and Mrs. J. J. HUnter of Charleston Heights, S.C.

     Also four brothers, Bruce Hart of Odessa, Kyle Hart of Lubbock, Chester Hart of Colorado City and Homer Hart of Loraine; five sisters, Mrs. May Bridges of Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. ELla Drake of Fabens, Mrs.Opal Cole of Iraan, and Mrs. Junice Butler and Mrs. Syble Walker, both of Loraine, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
