"Bob" Gardner 97, of Dallas and formerly of Big Spring died Thursday July 30 in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 11am Monday Aug 4 at Mt. Olive Memorial Park with the Rev. Matthew Miles officating. He was born April 15, 1906 in Oklahoma. He came to west Texas in the 1930's and sold oil field equipment throughout the Permian Basin until becoming employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He delivered mail in Big Spring for 31 years. He married Ida Fay Millaway in 1938. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by Ida Fay Millaway in 1995. Arrangments are by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
