Vigil services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 5, 2007 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Francis Njoku, Rev. Bernard Getigan and Rev. Tom Barley, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Texas. He was born on December 18, 1969, in Midland, Texas and married Dana Erin Hillger on May 18, 1991 in St. Lawrence, Texas. He graduated from Rankin High School and attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine. He worked as a field supervisor for Mariner Energies and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Marcus Ryan Cook; one daughter, Britni Ann Cook; his parents, Omer and Jade Cook all of Garden City; two sisters & brothers-in- law, Sheila and Tooter Draper of Ranger and Ann and Cannon Beaver of Odessa; his maternal grandmother, Jackie Ward of Stanton; his mother-in-law, Jo Ann Hillger of Garden City; two brothers-in-law, Mike Hillger and wife, Nancy and Scott Hillger and wife, Andrea all of Garden City; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
