McMullen County Family Group Sheet Project
Copy and Paste these instructions and the family group sheet to a email or to Windows WordPad or Notepad. You can find Windows WordPad and Notepad in the Start menu under Accessories. Please remove the instructions before sending the group sheet. Having the instructions will allow you to work on it at your convienance.
ATTACHMENTS: If you are sending the family group
sheet in an attachment save the file as a .txt
file (text) before sending it. Notepad will automatically save
it as a .txt file. In WordPad when you save the file make sure that the
Save As type: drop down menu is set to Text
before you save the file.
If you have a genealogy program that will create a family group sheet in .txt file (text) you are welcome to submit it instead of the form below. Please submit it to the following email address and include that it is for McMullen County.

DO NOT include LIVING PERSONS on these charts.
Dates should be in the format of MM/DD/YYYY if you have full dates, MMM/YYYY if you only know month and year, and YYYY if you only know the year. Always use a 4 digit year.
Add any additional information in the area left for comments, below the children. Please include items such as military service, occupation, race, etc. We strongly encourage everyone to quote their sources in the sources box!!
If you are making corrections or additions to existing Families you have already submitted, enter the Husband's name (or wife if no husband) and the corrected and/or updated information ONLY. Leave all other information blank. Be sure to enter your name and email address.
Family must show a connection to McMullen County, Texas. Any submissions that do not, will not be used.
If you need additional room
for more spouses or children copy and paste the appropriate
fields where you need them. Only include one family on this group
sheet. If a spouse was married more than one time please fill out
a
separate family group
sheet for that spouse.
