Dec. 19, 1926
Dear Co-workers
We have two Epworth Leagues. They have competent leaders and are well attended.
The Sunday school is doing splendid work, under management
of an efficient superintendent. New faces are seen each Sunday, which indicates
increased interest and growth.
With a desire to do what I may for the young life of the
Church I'm getting acquainted with the children, and feel that already I have
some personal friends among them. Many of them have been attending preaching
services, for this I am grateful and shall endeavor from time to time to have
some portion of my messages especially suited to their spiritual life and needs
Received by certificate; Mr. & Mrs. F. U. PLOAG, Mr. &
Mrs. B. M. MISTROT.
The W. M. S. is actively engaged in promoting the various
interests of the church, and the raising of the funds for missions and church
extension will receive attention
Last Thursday afternoon the parsonage pantry was stocked
with eats. We thank the ones who collected this supply of good things and those
who contributed in any way to this generous pounding. May the blessings of God
be upon them and repay them abundantly for their kindness
I have visited in about twenty homes, have filled my
appointments, preaching to large congregations. I see many reasons for believing
that our work together shall be fruitful under the guidance of the spirit of
God.
Respectfully

To fourth quarterly conference Normangee Church, Marlin
District, Texas Conference.
Oct 16, 1929
Dear Coworkers;
This quarter has covered a portion of the vacation period
with the usual amount of absentees from church activities. By actual count the
attendance at Sunday school and Epworth League has been at most times a little
in advance of last year and the year before. The congregations show a slight
gain for the past few Sundays
No loss from death or dismissal. A few families have moved
away. No accessions
Missionary interest of the Church are being cared for. The
collections taken along with the other items in the of benevolences
In spite of unusually short crops, we are working, hoping
and praying that the ledger shall show no deficit at the close of the conference
year. Our people here are loyal, and as we have worked and worshipped together
for three years, God has blessed us in many, many ways far beyond our merit.
With gratitude to God and His good people who have extended to us so many
courtesies, we look to the future hopefully

To the Presiding Elder and members of the Second quarterly
conference of Normangee Charge, Huntsville District and the Texas Conference.
Dear Brethren;
As to the general state of the Church, will say the interest
is growing and our congregations have been increasing in attendance
The weather has hindered us quite a bit, in fact it almost paralyzed us for awhile
We have done quite a little repair on the church and parsonage, and also bought
some furniture for the parsonage.
We have taken our collection for the
orphans, MT. Sequoyam and missions special, and we are trying to carry out the
program of the church as it comes.
Respectfully

the Huntsville District Texas Conference
Dear Brethren;
As to the general state of the Church, will say it is good.
Our Sunday school, leagues and church services have been fairly attended.
We held our revival during the quarter with ten additions, nine of them on profession of faith. Not only that
but our church was greatly revived.
Due to the depression our church has been under a financial strain all during the year and we are feeling the effects of
it very much at present, and for that reason our collections are going to be
short, but we are praying and looking forward to a better day.
Respectfully
S. H. INNES
