| NOTES: Reuben Henry Sigman was enumerated on the 1850 census while living in Newberry SC with his wife and three oldest children. He was enumerated on the 1860 census while living in Centerville, Leon Co., TX with his wife and four of his children. These are the only documented records we have ever been able to find of him. The rest of the information comes from a family Bible now in the possession of the Black family descendants. Sallie Sigman was enumerated in the household of her brother-in-law Lafayette Black on the 1870 census in Centerville, Leon Co., TX. The Black family later moved to Jewett, TX where Lafayette Black was a dry goods merchant. |
