NOTES:
This family joined a wagon train in 1858 for their trip to Texas.  Others traveling in this caravan were the families of William Solomon Jackson BOYKIN, Richard Hardy BOYKIN, Rowell BOYKIN, James Alexander BOYKIN, Sr., Richmond PATE, Frank WILLIAMS, M.T. SHOEMAKER, M.C. CARMICHAEL, S.A. CASTLES, and R.C. BRYAN, with their respective married sons' and daughters' families.  There were perhaps others in this wagon train whose names are not known.

Fay and Cecil SMITH list Sarah as Clarissa in their book on the Jacob Walker LEE family.  They also say she was born in 1835.

There are several minor discrepancies in the children's ages between the 1850 Clarke Co., MS census and the 1860 Leon Co., census.

Wiley was a Methodist minister.

Larkin's two wives were sisters.
