They have extended the deadline so please write your family information and send it (along with pictures if you wish) to the above address LIBRARY COLLECTION Our library is located across the street from the Old Courthouse in Centerville, Texas. The library collection contains over 1400 books (some private manuscripts) some 100 rolls of microfilm and many Quarterly newsletters. The library has a computer with marriage records on CD, Social Security Index on CD. The library is constantly collecting additional materials to preserve our history. We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 1:00 p. m. to 4:00 p.m. Publications Available Leon County Historical Collections Volume 1; Includes early newspaper clippings,pictures, first part of Men From Leon County in the Civil War.
