1900 - 1910
- 1920 - 1930
(the Links to Images
& Indexes are below)
Here's how to use our Census Indices with the Online Census Images:
The E.D. Number and the
accompanying Page Number is the identifier for each page of these Online Census
Images. Some of our Census Indexes were made up before the online images
were available, therefore, some will have
different use methods. We hope this explanation will help. (E.D.
means Enumeration District)
In the 1900 Census Image Page Listings, 41-01b.gif would be E.D.41 Page
1-b under "Images Page" in the Index.
In the 1910 online census, 161-10a.gif would mean E.D. 161 page
10A. The 1910 census index will show the page in the first column, then the E.D. number in the next
to last column..
In the 1920 online census, the same method is used as in
1910. 125-03a.gif would be E.D.125 Page 3A. The page is
in the first column and the E.D. number in the next to last
column.
In the 1930 Census Image Page Listings, 01-09a.gif would be the
01-09A found in the "Image
Page" Column of the Index (for Adams, Kathryn,as an example).
Note: If the census page is too small to
read, point your mouse to the middle of the page, then click on the enlarger button that appears at the bottom right of the image
