    I need to find my great grandmothers parents names. Susie Malissa WILLIAMS' father had a hotel in Forney, Tx. Susie died about 1904 when my grandmother was seven yrs. old. The hotel would have been in Kaufman county prior to 1900. Susie Malissa married Minyard O'REAR around 1880. This is only approximate time-frame. Any information is greatly appreciated. .

    I need info on Charles Julius HANNSZ born in Osmond, Missouri 10-28-1871. Married Etta LONG 4-01-1900. Moved from Henderson cty to Carlsbad, NM then later back to Henderson. He was first one down in Carlsbad Caverns but the man who worked for him Jim White got credit. I have proof but would like more info. Any info on Etta LONG would be appreciated. I have nothing on her to complete my book .

    FANNING - FANNIN, am searching for Nathan and Rebecca Jane Wilson Fannin(g). Nathan was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Sally) DOAK? He was born in Lincoln Co. Tn. in abt. 1836. Family left Tn. in the late 1840's. On Rusk Co. Tx. census 1860 and Kaufman Co. census 1870. Md. Rebecca in Bond Co. Ill. Aug. 23, 1865. Was in the 1870 Bond Co. Ill. census. In the 1880 Hood Co. Texas census as Fleener for surname.  Have records that show him in Hood co. as late as 1885. Was suppose to have died in Willis, Marshall Co. Oklahoma in 1891. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated.

    FANNIN/FANNING. I am searching for info on Thomas FANNIN(G). He was born in Ga. abt. 1804, moved to Lincoln Co. Tn. with parents, Middleton and Delphia Ann MOORE FANNING. He married Sarah or Sallie DOAK? in about 1819. Was on the census there 1820-1840. Can't find then in 1850. On the 1860 Rusk Co. census, 1870 Kaufman Co. census. I think he must have died in Kaufman co. some time after 1870 and before 1880. Other possible surname connections to Thomas and Sarah would be:
    PINKSTON, TURNER, GRAHAM, HILL, and RHEA. Their children were: One older son, b. abt. 1820 James md. Sarah HONEY, Lincoln Co. Tn. Mary Elizabeth b. Nov. 28, 1827 md. Pleasant V. RHEA, Bedford Co. Tn. Andrew H. b. Feb. 5, 1831 md. Sally Delphia Ann b. abt. 1832 (1) Milton PINKSTON, Rusk Co. Tx. (2) Samuel TURNER, Hood Co. Tx. William b. abt 1833 md. Sarah HAUGHTON, Rusk Co. Tx. Nathan b. Sept 26, 1836 md. Rebecca Jane WILSON in Bond Co. Il. Delphia and Samuel were living next door to Thomas and Sarah in the 1870 census. Looking for any info on this family, especially cemetery records and history. Willing to exchange info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    looking for the parents, siblings of Robert Marion RICE b. 6/21/1871 AL, d. 1/8/1939. lived in and married in Kaufman County, Mary Jane COLEMAN, b.1867 in TN. Robert was a blacksmith by trade. He may have been 1/2 Cherokee. Father only known as J. H. RICE. Mother ? He died in Roscoe, Texas.

    Seeking anyone with a connection to the DAUGHERTY families who lived in Kaufman county in the mid through late 1800s. Specifically, Henry DAUGHERTY, b. @1805, KY, m. Elizabeth ________. They moved to Kaufman county in the late 1850s. He died before 1860. In the census that year his widow Elizabeth and sons David and (James) Nathaniel are living with Nathaniel and Charlotte DAUGHERTY (relationship unknown). James Nathaniel DAUGHERTY (b.1853), son of Henry and Elizabeth, m. @1872 Mollie Baccus DAUGHERTY widow of another family member, who had a daughter by her first marriage, Ada DAUGHERTY. James and Mollie had one son, Henry Lee DAUGHERTY, b.1873. Mollie died @1877. 24Apr1879, James married Margaret Gaines DECK, in Bexar county. They had May DAUGHERTY (04Jul1880) and Bailey DAUGHERTY (Dec1883). James died before 1886 in Hays county TX.
    Census records indicate that This DAUGHERTY family had close ties with other families by that name in Bexar and Uvalde counties. I have much information to exchange on this family.

    Searching for grave of Wiloby (Wilbur) WALKER, who died about 1899/1900 near Wills Point. He came to Van Zandt, along with his daughter Bama Omega WALKER (BYNUM) about 1896. He may have had a son Lanny WALKER. Wiloby was borned in GA and married Mary DANIEL. He was a casket maker. Thanks for your help. Thad Grimshaw

    MORTON I am looking for descendents of William C. MORTON and his wife, Eliza Jane Freeman. They were possibly married in Lincoln Co. Tenn. on June 8, 1842. This couple moved from Tenn. in the fall of 1846. They are registered in the 1850 Red River Co. Census, 1860 Kaufman Co. census, and in the 1870 Fannin Co. Census. This MORTON family is associated with the FREEMAN family of Lincoln/Bedford Co. Tenn. and possibly Abner FREEMAN as well. William and Eliza Jane are buried in the Whiterock Cemetery near Bailey, Texas. William's dates are(1823-1892), and Eliza Jane's dates are (1824-1879). They are buried directly east of the shelterhouse perhaps  in 10 or 15 yards. They did have a number of children. My connection is with Cyntha Adelaide Morton, (Hurt), (Mitchell).     Seeking any information on William Wallace MCVEY and his wife, Louisa PARKER, moved from Arkansas about 1903 to Forney, Kaufman County, Tx. He d. 22 Jun 1916, she d. 2 Jan 1912...are they buried in Kaufman Cty? Varient spelling as MCVAY sometimes found. Their daughter, Elsie Faye MCVEY, b.13 Aug 1900, m. Leslie Carl RAMEY in Kaufman Cty, on 29 Jun 1918. Thanks for any help.
